Henry Chdi-Opara
Complex Care Coordinator

With a bachelor's in internal relations and law, a master's in business, as well as prior experience in business management and client coordination, Henry recently joined the Blue Bird team. He intends to bring his varied experience to the coordination team in order to deliver a smoother experience for both the nurses and the client.

Nathan Sweeney
Recruitment & HR Manager

Nathan had been working as a hospitality manager for several years within Ireland and the UK. He loves working with people and ensuring they are being looked after. Bluebird was the perfect opportunity for Nathan to transfer those skills to help ensure we are recruiting the best talent and keeping the team happy & engaged.

Eddie O'Toole
Managing Director

Eddie has over 16 years’ experience in the Homecare Sector having been the Operations Director of Bluebird Care (Ireland) from its inception in 2008 to when he became Managing Director of Bluebird Care (Dublin South) in January 2017.

A former Director and Vice-President of Home and Community Care Ireland (HCCI), Eddie has been involved in many projects and processes in conjunction with The Health Service Executive at a senior level and has gained vast experience in running a successful and quality driven Homecare Services business.

Bluebird Care (Dublin South) has gone from strength to strength over the last number of years and that is undoubtably due to the exceptional team of Carers, Nurses and indeed Administration staff that, together with our focus on the quality of care provided, makes a real and positive difference to the lives of so many people within our community.

Financial Director

Kevin is our financial director and is responsible for the company's long-term financial health and growth.

Laura Keenan
CNM3 - General Manager

Laura has overall responsibility for the day-to-day management of our services and has over 12 years’ experience managing people at all levels to deliver exceptional, high quality performance. Laura is motivated by always striving 'to make a difference' and is committed to delivering the highest possible standards of care for all our customers whilst providing a rewarding, fulfilling and enjoyable working environment for all our staff.

 

I decided to make the move into homecare provision as I’m passionate about keeping people young and old, with varying degrees of ability, at home in their own environment amongst family and friends for as long as is possible. I have met amazing people; Carers and Clients and I have learned so much and hopefully, through my work, I have been able to make a positive impact on their lives.

Alan Murphy
Quality and Governance Director

Alan's role as the Quality and Governance director is to oversee the development, implementation and management of a number of organisational systems, standards and services to ensure we are providing the best possible care for our clients and are compliant with all regulatory requirements.

Karen O'Sullivan
Office Manager

Karen comes to us with an exciting varied work history from Weight Loss Consultant with Slimming World to chef/proprietor of her own café in Ranelagh for over 20 years. Karen with her amazing phone ethic and charisma is always welcoming when you call here Bluebird Care Dublin South.

 

Sinead Doyle
CNM 1 - Complex Care

Hi I’m Sinead Doyle, CNM1 over Paediatric complex care at Bluebirdcare Dublin south. I’m responsible for ensuring continued nurse education, development, and clinical support to ensure our children continue to receive the best possible care.

Taynara Willmann
Operations Manager (Older Person's Services)

Taynara has a degree in advertising and started with Bluebird three years ago as a Health Care Assistant.  Knowing the dynamic of the road and with a good communication with the carers and customers, she brought her experience to assist the Rostering Team. Now, Tay oversees the expert delivery of our Older Person's Services as our Operations Manager.

Roxana Radvan
CNM - Older Person Services

Roxana finished Nursing School in Romania in 2017 trained in an Intensive Care Unite. After which moved to Ireland, to do Nursing, which gave her a position in the Nursing Homes in Co. Cork and following on to Dublin. Roxana will be a Team leader for our Health Care Assistants bringing her experience and knowledge to support our HCA's out on the road.

 

David Curtin
CNM - Older Person Services

David began his career in healthcare in 2004 as a healthcare assistant before attending Trinity College to study General Nursing, graduating in 2015. He worked as a Staff Nurse in St. James’ Hospital before transferring to Community Nursing in 2018. He joined Bluebird Care’s Paediatric Complex Care division in 2021 before assuming the role of CNM 1 in Older Persons Care in January 2023.

Nadine Kennedy O Connor
Supervisor

Nadine has an excellent background in home care where she worked as a Health Care Assistant for several years before being promoted to a Supervisory role.

Nadine joins us as our main point of contact for our team on the road, and helps to ensure that our commitment to providing the best possible care for our clients is being upheld every single day.

Camila Costa
Care Coordinator

Camila worked as health care assistant with Bluebird care Dublin South previously and returned to the team as a coordinator after gaining years of experience eslewhere. 

"I'm very excitied to be part again of Bluebird's team.

It's good to see again the 'old' members and meet the 'new' ones.

Bernardo Toretta
On Call Coordinator

Bernardo has a degree in veterinary medicine, and since 2021 he has been expanding his horizons by exploring the healthcare area to gain more knowledge. Bernardo gained experience as an HCA and is now bringing his knowledge to the office by being the care coordinator and On Call during times when the office is inoperative.

Evelina Vainauskaite
Office administrator & Social Media

Evelina has worked for several years in some of the most accredited clinics in the aesthetics industry in both London and Dublin. She has a wealth of experience with managing complex systems and providing excellent service over the phone. 

Evelina is the mastermind behind our organic social media content - ensuring our community of followers are actively kept up to speed with all things Bluebird Care Dublin South.

Caitriona O'Brien
Recruitment Coordinator

Caitriona O'Brien joins us as part of the recruitment team looking after Administration for Health Care Assistants.

Coming to us after 20+ years in the Beauty and Wellness Industry and is excited by a new challenge

while still looking after the wellbeing of people.

Evelyn Luque
HR Administrator

Evelyn joined Bluebird in 2020 as a Health Care Assistant with a background in business and has a degree in Business Managment and International Business. Evelyn has since been promoted to the role of HR Administrator.

Wendy Ortega
On Call Coordinator & Office Admin

Wendy is an Industrial Engineer with a Master degree in Finance Business Management. 

She has previous experience in Account Management, and Logistics. She joined Bluebird in 2022 as a Health care Assistant and was promoted to the role of On Call Coordinator & Office Admin. She is the link to ensure our services continue to run smoothly outside office hours.

Aisling O Hare
Clinical Nurse Manager 2 Complex Care

"Hi my name is Aisling, and I am a registered intellectual disability and pediatric nurse. I have the overall resposibility of liasing with the families and nurses to ensure a high quality of nursing care is delivered.

"After returning from Great Ormond Street Children's Hospital, I decided to focus on my work in caring for children and their families with complex care needs in the community.

"It is a privilege for me to understand the children and families as we support them with nursing care in the comfort of their own homes."
