Job Title: Registered Nurse- Home Support.

Job Location: West Waterford

Hours: 1 x 6 day hours / 3 x 8 hour nights

Qualification: RGN/RCN

Role of Registered Nurse

To provide safe, high quality & professional care family centred care to a child within their home environment. The successful candidate will become part of a Nurse led care team with relevant supports provided by an experienced clinical team.

Responsibilities include . . .

· Provide excellent evidenced based nursing care and implement all aspects of the client’s care plan based on the needs identified.

· To prioritise the needs and comforts of the young adult and family.

· To promote abilities, independence and to safeguard the clients interest at all times.

· Work closely in partnership with family members.

· Communicate effectively with client, family, clinical team & MDT reporting on client’s clinical needs as required.

· Maintain accurate and professional clinical notes.

Qualities

· To demonstrate commitment and competence in the care and welfare of client’s needs.

· To promote the recognition of the client as an individual.

· Demonstrate kindness, compassion, dignity, and respect.

Qualifications & Experience

· Current registration on live register of NMBI. RGN/RCN

· Previous experience in home care is an advantage, full training and support is provided to all candidates.
