Role of Practice/Care Supervisor

The role of the Supervisor is to develop the clinical and practical expertise of Care Assistants within Bluebird Care. They have responsibility for the efficient running of the care packages and making sure that care plans are delivered accurately at all times. They will have a key role in supporting and managing the performance, practice and functional elements of the Care Assistant role.

Your responsibilities as a Supervisor will include . . .

• Conduct care supervision visits in a wide variety of practice settings ensuring we can support our team in the community
• Oversee the accurate maintenance of supervision records
• Carry out carer introductions including care plan development
• In certain circumstances delivering care to customers who otherwise would not receive a visit (this may be outside normal working hours)
• Employ a best practice approach in the care of customers
• Liaising with a wide variety of professionals, clients and their families.
• Participate in relevant duties as part of the Office Support Team including the emergency on-call service

Qualifications & Experience

• Nursing or Social Care degree
• Relevant caring and supervisory experience
• Computer literacy and administration skills required
• Full drivers licence essential
