Registered Nurse (Home Care Setting - Part-Time-Full-Time) Location: Working in the Home of a Client in Navan, Co. We are looking for a committed and compassionate nurse with ICU experience to deliver high-quality, person-centred care to an adult in a home care setting. Requirements Registered General Nurse (RGN) with current NMBI registration (live register) Experience in an ICU setting is desirable Strong communication and organisational skills Commitment to delivering high-quality, client-centred care Ability to work independently and as part of a team Professionalism, confidentiality, and excellent report-writing skills Responsibilities Deliver safe, person-centred nursing care in the client’s home Manage complex clinical interventions, including : Tracheostomy care, Ventilator support, PEG and NG feeding, Catheter and stoma care Support clinical decision-making and escalate concerns appropriately Liaise with GPs, discharge coordinators, and community teams Assist with care planning, risk assessments, and clinical documentation Train and mentor care staff in relevant clinical procedures (as appropriate) Qualities Demonstrate commitment and competence in the care and welfare of clients Promote the recognition of the child as an individual Demonstrate kindness, compassion, dignity, and respect Qualifications & Experience Current registration on the live register of NMBI RGN/RCN trained Paediatric nursing experience is desirable Previous experience in home care is an advantage, full training and support provided
