Pay:

• €15.50 per hour (Mon - Sat)
• €17.60 per hour on Sundays
• Double pay on Bank Holidays (€31.00 per hour)
• Bi-weekly pay
• Travel payment between client visits

Hours: 48 guaranteed paid hours per week. Four-day or five-day roster options

Own car required

Earn €38,688 base annual gross, with potential earnings of €40,000+ through regular Sunday work and the Annual Loyalty Bonus.

Bluebird Care Meath is recruiting experienced and dependable Healthcare Assistants for permanent, full-time positions across County Meath.

This opportunity provides the security of a guaranteed 48-hour contract, a structured four-day or five-day roster and paid travel between client visits.

Available roster patterns include early, afternoon and evening shifts, with weekend-on and weekend-off rotations. Our client visits generally take place between 8am and 9pm.

Successful candidates will work within an agreed local area. Current priority locations include: 

Navan, Kells, Oldcastle, Duleek, Bettystown, Mornington, Dunboyne, Clonee, Ashbourne, Ratoath, Dunshaughlin, Trim, Slane, Athboy, Kildalkey, Enfield

The Annual Loyalty Bonus applies to eligible hours paid at the standard €15.50 rate and is paid tax-free in accordance with the programme terms.

Your responsibilities

• Supporting clients with personal care and daily living activities
• Assisting with mobility, meals and medication prompts
• Providing companionship and promoting independence
• Completing accurate care records
• Travelling between client homes within your agreed local area
• Delivering safe, respectful and person-centred care
• 
  

Essential requirements

• Full driving licence
• Your own reliable car
• Availability to work 48 hours per week
• Availability across a structured roster between 8am and 9pm
• Availability for weekend work as part of the roster
• QQI Level 5 Care Skills and Care of the Older Person, or equivalent recognised qualifications
• Eligible to work in Ireland
• Ability to provide satisfactory references and complete Garda Vetting
• Reliable, caring and professional approach
