Healthcare Assistant- D8, D12, D16, D24

Description The purpose of this role is to support our clients with all aspects of their day-to-day living. You will provide care in the client’s home and it is essential that all services are delivered in a safe, compassionate and caring manner. Following client’s Care Plan which is a guide that provides information on the individual character of services. Supporting social interactions and activities, providing companionship. Encouraging independence. To observe, listen, and engage with clients and maintain positive relationships with the client and the family. Be punctual and manage time effectively. Always observe confidentiality policy. Communicating with the office any changes or concerns in relation to Client needs/care. Reporting and record any incidents. Adhering to Health and Safety regulations. Minimum Qualifications and Experience: Have QQI level 5 in Healthcare with relevant modules (or equivalent) completed or begin commencing-Assistance provided. Have a clean Garda Vetting Cert and International Police Clearance Cert (if applicable). Computer literacy essential. Smart Phone ownership essential. Can work independently and as part of a team. Are reliable, dedicated, diligent and trustworthy. Understand GDPR and how important it is when working with the elderly. Are fluent in English both verbally and written. This is a part-time permanent position, offering flexible working of 2–3 days per week. Blended working (remote and on-site) may be available for the right candidate. 🔹 About the Role As Quality Manager, you will oversee the quality and governance framework across our services, ensuring compliance with HIQA standards and HSE governance requirements . You will play a key role in supporting the continuous improvement of care delivery, safeguarding practices, and person-centred outcomes. 🔹 Key Responsibilities Lead and manage quality assurance systems and audit processes Interpret and implement HSE policies, procedures, and regulations Monitor performance data and KPIs Ensure clinical governance and safeguarding standards are met Collaborate with HSE and multidisciplinary teams Drive best practice in person-centred care 🔹 Requirements Active registration with NMBI (Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland) Relevant healthcare qualification or a relevant management qualification Proven experience in quality management within healthcare or the home support sector In-depth knowledge of HIQA and HSE standards and frameworks Strong communication, interpersonal, and analytical skills Competence in report writing, data collection, and performance monitoring Strong understanding of safeguarding principles and clinical governance 🔹 Why Join Us?
