Care Coordinator / Scheduler

Bluebird Care Clare are seeking an enthusiastic, positive and highly organised person to join our team in Ennis, Co. Clare. The Care Coordinator / Scheduler plays a key role in the successful day to day running our business.

We are looking for a candidate who has excellent interpersonal skills and a warm flexible communication style.

Your responsibilities as a Care Coordinator / Scheduler will include

• Develop and maintain positive relationships with staff, customers and their family members, and with HSE Health and Social Care Services personnel.
• Provide a professional and courteous service to members of the public & colleagues
• Provide administration support and effectively co-ordinate work schedules
• Work on the On-Call service on a rota basis with your colleagues
• Respond to all customer queries in a timely and professional manner.
• Be the first point of contact for Customers & Staff
• Provide support to the senior management team

Qualifications & Experience

• Experience as a Care Assistant is desirable.
• A recognised qualification in office administration or relevant experience
• Experience working within a homecare office setting desirable
• Strong computer literacy skills essential
• Must have the ability to work under pressure, and have the ability to manage their own workloads whilst also being a team player
• Candidates must have strong written and oral communication skills and be able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail

Employment Type

• Full-time role: Office hours 08:30 - 17:00 Monday to Friday
• Full Driving license desirable
• On-Call (rota basis)
• Permanent fulltime position
