Home Care Nurse – PEG & Epilepsy Experience Required
We are currently seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse to join our home care team, providing one-to-one care for a child in their own home just outside Cork City.
Position Details
- Location: Outside Cork City 30 mins approx. milage paid to and from work
- Hours: 3-4 shifts per week
- Shift Times: 3:30 pm – 8:30 pm (5-hour shifts)
- Setting: Client's home
Essential Requirements
- Registered Nurse with an active NMBI registration.
- Experience managing PEG feeding.
- Experience in epilepsy management and seizure care.
- Previous paediatric or home care experience is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills and a caring, family-centred approach.
Role Responsibilities
- Deliver safe, high-quality nursing care in the child's home.
- Manage PEG feeding and associated care.
- Monitor and manage epilepsy in line with the child's care plan.
- Support the child's comfort, wellbeing, and daily routine.
- Maintain accurate documentation and communicate effectively with the family and multidisciplinary team.
