Part Time Home Support Nurse – South Tipperary

Role of Registered Nurse is to provide safe, quality person centred care to a client within their own home environment. The successful candidate will be part of Nurse led care team and will have support from local clinical supervision Team, reporting directly to CNM.


Job Title: Registered Nurse Home Support Nurse (Community based)

Hours: 2 hours per morning (8am -10am) and 2 hours per evening (8pm-10pm)

Job Location: Cahir/ Cashel / Clonmel, South Tipperary

Responsibilities to include:

·      Provide evidenced based nursing care and implement all aspects of the client’s care plans based on the needs identified.

·      To prioritise the needs and comforts of the Adult.

·      Work closely in partnership with family members.

·      To promote the recognition of the client as an individual & demonstrate kindness, compassion, and respect.

·      To be committed to the care and concern of client.

·      Work within their Scope of Practice NMBI (2015).

·      Adhere to the NMBI Code of Professional Conduct for Nurses and Midwives (2015).


Qualifications & Experience

·      Registered Nurse on live register of NMBI.

·      Community based nursing experience is desirable but not essential as relevant training will be provided.
