We are seeking a dedicated Community Care Supervisor to join our Tipperary team. This role is ideal for a Registered Nurse or Social Care Worker who is passionate about delivering high‑quality, person‑centred care in the community.

You will be supported by an experienced Clinical Nurse Manager, who will act as your mentor as you grow into the role.

Role Overview

As a Community Care Supervisor, you will play a key part in ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and compassionate care to our customers. Your responsibilities will include:


  • Conduct comprehensive customer risk assessments and develop person‑centred care plans.
  • Provide support, supervision, and guidance to Care Staff.
  • Monitor and uphold care quality standards across community services.
  • Support and manage the performance and practice of Care Assistants.
  • Offer professional expertise to enhance existing care arrangements.
  • Work closely with the Clinical Nurse Manager and Director of Care.


Key Responsibilities

Deliver excellent, evidence‑based care aligned with individual care plans.

Mentor and support community-based Care Staff, including conducting supervision visits in clients’ homes.

Provide direct client support when required.

Promote and maintain best practice standards in care and customer welfare.


Qualifications & Experience

Registered Nurse (NMBI) or Social Care Worker (CORU) – essential.

Minimum 2 years post‑registration experience; community care experience is an advantage.

Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.

Demonstrated kindness, respect, and compassion in care delivery.

IT proficiency required.

Full driving licence essential.
