Paediatric/RGN Home Support Nurse – Lucan

Wednesday and Thursday afternoon/evening shifts | Accessible by public transport

Location Lucan, Co. Dublin

Shift time 15:00–22:00 (7 hours)

Shifts available 1–2 regular shifts per week: Wednesday and Thursday

Reporting/support Nurse-led home-support team

Would one or two predictable weekly shifts fit around your existing commitments? Join our nurse-led team to support a child in Lucan in a stable, one-to-one homecare setting.

Benefits:

• Monday - Saturday €30 per hour
• Sunday €45 per hour
• Bank Holidays €60 per hour

The child’s care needs: 

The nurse will provide evidence-based care in line with the individual care plan and work in close partnership with the family and clinical team.

·    Spina bifida care

·    Gastrostomy feeds via feeding pump

·    Bowel washouts

·    Intermittent catheter care

·    PEG care, enteral feeding and medication

·    Pressure-area care

·    Medication management

·    Hoist transfers and activities of daily living

·    Age-appropriate play and family support

What you will need: 

·    Current live NMBI registration as an RCN or RGN

·    Paediatric or relevant disability nursing experience desirable

·    Homecare experience is an advantage but not essential

·    Strong clinical documentation and communication skills

·    Kindness, compassion, dignity and respect in every aspect of care

·    Legal right to work in Ireland; sponsorship is not available
