Salary

• Starting from €15.00p/h
• €17.00 p/h – Full QQI (Care Skills & Care of the Elderly) + 2 years’ experience
• €16.00 p/h – Full QQI (Care Skills & Care of the Elderly)
• €15.50 p/h – Experience without full QQI / partial QQI
• €15.00 p/h – No QQI or experience (training provided)

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Living and personal care in their own homes
• Follow the requirements of each client’s care plan
• Promote client comfort, dignity, and wellbeing
• Provide a high standard of care in compliance with Bluebird Care policies
• Pay due care and attention to all aspects of care duties carried out on behalf of the client

Requirements

• QQI Level 5 modules in Care of the Older Person and Care Skills / Healthcare Support or Equivalent
• Minimum one year’s experience caring for others and willingness to complete required modules
• Experience working with intellectual disabilities
• Full, clean driving licence is essential
• Please note: For our full time applicants, the wage needs to be 30,000 minimum salary per annum, and the hours need to be 39 hours per week maximum.
