We are now seeking an experienced and motivated Clinical Nurse Manager to lead and support our services across Older Person Services and Disability Services.
The Role
This is a dynamic and rewarding leadership position combining office-based management responsibilities with hands-on clinical support within the community.
As Clinical Nurse Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and person-centred care. You will support and guide our care teams while maintaining strong clinical governance and compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clinical leadership across Older Person and Disability Services
- Ensure high standards of care delivery in line with HIQA and regulatory requirements
- Oversee care planning, risk assessments, and clinical documentation
- Conduct client assessments and regular care reviews within the community
- Support, mentor, and supervise nursing and care staff
- Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and audits
- Participate in incident management and safeguarding processes
- Work collaboratively with families, multidisciplinary teams, and external agencies
- Support recruitment, training, and ongoing professional development of staff
About You
- Registered General Nurse (RGN) with active NMBI registration
- Minimum 3–5 years post-registration experience
- Previous management or supervisory experience preferred
- Experience in community care, older person services, or disability services
- Strong knowledge of clinical governance and HIQA standards
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
- Full clean driving licence and access to own vehicle
