Registered Nurse – RGN, RNID, RSCN, RM
Location: Gweedore / Bunbeg / Gortahork / Derrybeg / Falcarragh / Dungloe/ Donegal Town/Ballyshannon
We are currently recruiting Registered Nurses for a school-based role in the Gweedore area, providing high-quality care to a child with complex health needs. This is a rewarding daytime position within a supportive, nurse-led service.
We are also interested in speaking with nurses in general who may be exploring new opportunities across the region, even if this specific role isn’t the perfect fit.
Hours & Pay
- Day shifts: 9am – 3pm
- Rate: €25 per hour
Enhanced Rates
- Mon–Sat (8am–10pm): €25.00/hour
- Mon–Sat (10pm–8am): €27.00/hour
- Sunday (8am–10pm): €32.00/hour
- Sunday (10pm–8am): €35.00/hour
Role of Registered Nurse
You will provide safe, compassionate, and high-quality care in a school setting. The successful candidate will work as part of a nurse-led team and report directly to the CNM2.

Requirements
- Active NMBI registration (RGN, RNID, RCN, or RM)
- Minimum 6 months’ post-registration experience
- Experience with tracheostomy care (desirable but not essential)
- Full clean Irish/EU driver’s licence & access to own vehicle
- Compassionate, respectful, and kind approach to care
