Healthcare Assistant
Athlone
Pay: From €13.60 per hour + paid travel time
Hours: Flexible shifts, Monday to Sunday, 8am–10pm
Job Types: Fulltime, Parttime, Permanent
Bluebird Care is hiring Healthcare Assistants to provide high quality home care across Athlone, Moate, and surrounding areas. Guided by our Clinical Leads in 25 offices nationwide, you’ll receive excellent training and support to deliver safe, compassionate care.

What is Required:
- Personal care, meal prep, mobility assistance
- Dementia, Alzheimer’s, and highdependency support
- Medication prompting & light housework/shopping
- Companionship and encouraging independence
- Following individual Care Plans
- Reporting and documentation
Requirements
- QQI Care Skills & Care of the Older Person or 1 year healthcare experience
- Full driver’s licence & own transport
- Reliable, caring, and professional
- Good English (spoken & written)
- Eligible to work in Ireland
- International Police Clearance (if applicable)
- Medical fitness certificate
