Role Overview:

Assist clients with all aspects of daily living in their own homes, delivering care in a safe, compassionate, and professional manner.

Duties Include:

• Personal care, toileting, meal preparation, moving/transferring, Alzheimer’s, Dementia, and high-dependency care
• Prompting medication and light housework/basic shopping
• Following individual Care Plans
• Facilitating social interactions and companionship
• Observing, listening, and engaging with clients and families

Minimum Qualifications and Experience:

• Completion of at least 2 modules: QQI Care Skills and QQI Care of the Older Person, or one year’s experience in a healthcare setting
• International Police Clearance Certificate (if applicable)
• Willingness to undergo a medical examination
• Full driver’s license and own transport is essential
• Proficiency in English (verbal and written)
• Eligibility to work in the Republic of Ireland
