Healthcare Assistant – Enniscorthy & Surrounding Areas

We’re currently recruiting Healthcare Assistants to join our growing team across Enniscorthy and the surrounding areas. This is community-based care, supporting people in the comfort of their own homes — with schedules built around your availability and real support just a phone call away.
What the Role Involves
You’ll support people one-to-one with:
- Personal care (bathing, dressing, toileting)
- Preparing light meals and helping with day-to-day routines
- Providing company and reassurance
- Assisting with safe movement around the home
You’re not rushing between clients. You’ll provide meaningful care to the same people each week, at the same time — so they get consistency, and you get peace of mind.
Work-Life Balance That’s Real
We offer flexible, part-time, and full-time hours, with most of our needs in:
- Morning shifts: 8am–12 noon
- Evening shifts: 4pm–8pm
- Every second weekend
You’ll agree your schedule when you join — and we’ll keep it consistent going forward.
Rates of Pay & Perks
We reward experience and qualifications with enhanced hourly pay:
- €13.50/hour – Experience + newly completed QQI Care Skills & Care of the Elderly
- €14.00–€14.50/hour – Experience + both QQI modules completed
- €15.00/hour – Full QQI Level 5 (8 modules) + experience

Need to Complete Your QQI?
If you’ve looked after a family member or have hands-on care experience, but haven’t completed QQI yet — we can help.
We provide heavily subsidised QQI training (Care Skills and Care of the Elderly) which must be completed before you start. We’ll support you through the process.

Essentials
- Live in or near Enniscorthy
- Hold a full driving licence and have your own transport
- Have or be willing to complete QQI Care Skills and Care of the Elderly
