The Care Assistant’s primary role is to deliver personal care and assistance to a client in his/her own home. Care Assistants are responsible for carrying out identified care needs such as; personal care, toileting, meal preparation, light housework and promoting client comfort, dignity and wellbeing.
Qualifications & Experience:
- QQI Level 5 Care of the Older Person and Care Skills Modules OR a commitment to complete essential.
- Full clean driving license is essential
- Own transport
- Smart phone
- Good standard of written and verbal English (desired)
- Caring and empathetic
- Can work as part of a team or independently
