Social Care Worker – Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities

Bluebird Care is a trusted care provider delivering high-quality, person-centred support. We are currently recruiting compassionate Social Care Workers to join our dedicated team in Kerry & West Cork.

Salary
- €14.50 per hour (Monday–Saturday)
- €15.50 per hour (Sundays)
Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care, meal preparation, toileting, moving and transferring
- Support clients with Alzheimer’s, Dementia, and high dependency needs
- Supervise medication and assist with light housework/basic shopping
- Offer emotional and social support
- Collaborate with the care team and monitor client progress
- Report and record any incidents
- Adhere to Health and Safety regulations
Requirements:
- Degree level 7/8 in Social Care, Social Studies, or related discipline
- Registered or eligible for registration with CORU
- Full clean driving licence and access to own transport
- Knowledge of New Directions Services and Supports for adults with disabilities is advantageous
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Fluent English, written and spoken
- Flexible and willing to adapt to changing circumstances and shift patterns
- Must be eligible to work in the Republic of Ireland
