As a Health Care Assistant in Tullamore, you’ll be supported every step of the way by experienced Clinical Nurse Managers, with hands-on guidance and 24/7 clinical support whenever you need it.

Your Role
You’ll support clients in their own homes, helping them to live independently, safely, and with dignity.
Key responsibilities include:
- Personal care (washing, dressing, mobility, toileting)
- Meal preparation and light household duties
- Medication prompting and supervision
- Providing companionship and emotional support
- Supporting clients with Dementia, Alzheimer’s, and high-dependency needs
- Following individual Care Plans and recording care provided
- Reporting any concerns to the care management team
What You’ll Need
- QQI Level 5 (Care Skills & Care of the Older Person completed)
- Minimum 1 year’s experience in a healthcare setting
- Garda Vetting (and International Police Clearance if applicable)
- Fit-to-work certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Full driver’s licence and access to your own transport
- Comfortable using Google Maps for navigation
- Good English communication skills
- A caring, dependable, and respectful approach
- Full eligibility to work in Ireland
