About the Role:
Bluebird Care is looking for a compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team in Drogheda. If you’re dedicated to providing high-quality care and support to individuals in their homes, we want to hear from you.
Benefits:
Dependent upon experience and qualifications:
· Mon- Sat up to €14.10 per hour.
Sundays up to €15.10 per hour.
Bank Holidays up to €28.20 per hour.
Mileage and travel time is paid.
Key Responsibilities:
· Assist clients with personal care (bathing, dressing, grooming).
· Help with mobility, transfers, and meal preparation.
· Provide companionship and emotional support.
· Perform light household tasks like cleaning and laundry.
· Maintain accurate care records.
Requirements:
· Experience in healthcare (preferred, but not essential).
· FETAC Level 5 in Healthcare Support (or willing to complete).
· Empathy, patience, and strong communication skills.
· Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends.
· Full driving licence & own transport (preferred).
