Bluebird Care are now hiring Health Care Assistants to join our team, providing home-based care to clients across Kerry and West Cork.
Open to full and part-time applicants
Community-based roles
Competitive rates of pay
Paid travel time and mileage
Paid shadowing
Free patient moving and handling training
Main duties:
Personal care, mobility support, meal prep, light housework
High-dependency, dementia, and Alzheimer’s care
Companionship and promoting independence
Following Care Plans, reporting changes
Maintaining confidentiality and communication
Requirements:
QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Support (or working towards, with at least 2 modules already completed)
Clean Garda Vetting & Police Clearance (if applicable)
Full driver’s licence and own transport
Medical fitness to work
Fluent English – written and verbal
Previous experience in a care setting
Eligible to work in Ireland
