We welcome both new and experienced candidates who meet one of the following:
2 QQI Level 5 modules:
- Care Skills/Healthcare Support
- Care of the Older Person
OR
- 1+ year of experience working as a Healthcare Assistant with a willingness to complete the two required QQI modules – Bluebird Care will provide them FREE of charge!
Additional:
- Good spoken and written English is essential
- Ideally able to drive, or live within walking/cycling distance of clients
Key Duties:
- Assisting clients with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
- Supporting with mobility, transfers, and companionship
- Preparing meals and offering feeding support if needed
- Helping with light household tasks (laundry, tidying, etc.)
- Promoting independence, dignity, and well-being
- Accurately recording care updates and reporting changes
Work Schedule:
- Flexible hours available
- Preference for those available every second weekend
- Opportunities for both part-time and full-time hours
