We welcome both new and experienced candidates who meet one of the following:

2 QQI Level 5 modules:

  •  Care Skills/Healthcare Support
  •  Care of the Older Person

OR

  •   1+ year of experience working as a Healthcare Assistant with a willingness to complete the two required QQI modules – Bluebird Care will provide them FREE of charge!

Additional:

  •  Good spoken and written English is essential
  •  Ideally able to drive, or live within walking/cycling distance of clients


Key Duties:

  •  Assisting clients with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting)
  • Supporting with mobility, transfers, and companionship
  •  Preparing meals and offering feeding support if needed
  •  Helping with light household tasks (laundry, tidying, etc.)
  • Promoting independence, dignity, and well-being
  • Accurately recording care updates and reporting changes


Work Schedule:

  • Flexible hours available
  •  Preference for those available every second weekend
  •  Opportunities for both part-time and full-time hours
