Application
You can apply through our Careers Website, Indeed, or any other platform. Once we receive your CV, our Recruitment Coordinator will review it and, if suitable, invite you for a quick 10–15 minute call to discuss your experience and what you're looking for. If it’s a good fit, you’ll receive two emails: Interview Confirmation – with the date, time, Eircode, and details for your in-person interview. Online Application Form – a simple, user-friendly form that replaces the need for printing or converting PDFs, making the process smoother and fully digital.
Interview
Your interview will be carried out by our Recruitment Coordinator in a relaxed and supportive setting. This is your chance to tell us more about yourself, your experience, and why you’re passionate about care. We’ll also share more about Bluebird Care, the role, and what to expect as part of our team. Our goal is to make sure you leave the interview feeling informed, valued, and excited about the possibility of joining us.
Offer & Vetting
If your interview is successful, our Recruitment Coordinator will call you to offer you the position. Because your online application was completed before the interview, we already have everything we need to kick off the Garda vetting process as soon as you accept. You’ll then receive your offer letter, job description, and other essential documents directly to your email. Everything is done online — no printing, no scanning — just a few quick clicks to review and sign, making the process smooth, fast, and hassle-free.
Induction & Begin your career as a Healthcare Assistant
Once all your documents are received, you’ll be invited to attend induction with one of our Care Supervisors. This is your opportunity to meet the team, learn more about Bluebird Care as a company, and gain a clear understanding of our policies, procedures, and commitment to delivering high-quality care. Following induction, our Coordination Team will arrange introductory calls with your Supervisor, who will guide you through meeting your clients and ensure you feel confident, supported, and fully prepared to begin your journey as a Bluebird Care Professional.
