Care Assistants are responsible for overseeing the clients care plan, perform the planned care duties and promote client comfort, dignity and wellbeing. Registered Paediatric Nurses – Homecare Bluebird Care Dublin South is currently recruiting Registered Nurses with previous paediatric nursing experience to join our dedicated homecare team. We are looking for compassionate, skilled and reliable nurses who are passionate about providing high-quality, person-centred care to children and supporting their families in the comfort of their own homes. The Role As a Paediatric Homecare Nurse, you will provide professional nursing care tailored to each child’s individual needs. You will work closely with the child’s family and the wider healthcare team to ensure safe, consistent and compassionate care. Key Responsibilities Providing high-quality nursing care in the child’s home. Supporting children with complex care needs where required. Monitoring and documenting the child’s condition and care provided. Following individualised care plans and clinical guidelines. Administering medications and treatments as prescribed. Communicating effectively with families and other healthcare professionals. Maintaining accurate and confidential care records. Promoting the child’s comfort, dignity, safety and wellbeing. Requirements Registered Nurse Previous paediatric nursing experience is essential. Experience in paediatric homecare or complex care is highly desirable. Excellent clinical and communication skills. Compassionate, patient and child-focused approach. Ability to work independently while being part of a wider care team. Reliable, professional and committed to delivering excellent standards of care.
