Free QQI Training: Care Skills & Care of the Older Person Free Manual Handling Training 24/7 support line: dedicated Care Management Team Duties & Responsibilities: Healthcare Assistant travels between clients’ residences to deliver personalised support, ensuring everyone in our care receives the care they need in the comfort of their own home. Flexible working hours available Assisting clients with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting) Supporting clients with mobility and transfers Preparing meals and supporting with feeding if required Providing companionship and emotional support Supporting medication prompts/reminders Carrying out light household duties (tidying, laundry, etc.) Promoting client independence and dignity at all times Reporting concerns or changes in health to the office promptly Accurately recording visit notes and care updates Requirements & Qualifications : Desirable: 2 modules of QQI Level 5 in Healthcare (Care Skills/Healthcare Support and Care of the Older Person) Previous experience as a Healthcare assistant (personal or professional experience) OR No experience, caring personality, good character and willingness to complete a minimum of 2 modules of QQI Level 5 in Healthcare Essential requirements Very good spoken and written English Availability to work at least every second weekend All applicants must have previous work experience in Ireland Living in D7, D9 or D11 Make a difference in someone’s life with Bluebird Care Dublin North.
