Duties & Responsibilities: As a Healthcare Assistant with Bluebird Care, your role will include: Assisting clients with personal care (washing, dressing, toileting) Supporting clients with mobility and transfers Preparing meals and supporting with feeding if required Providing companionship and emotional support Supporting medication prompts/reminders Carrying out light household duties (tidying, laundry, etc.) Promoting client independence and dignity at all times Reporting concerns or changes in health to the office promptly Accurately recording visit notes and care updates Requirements: You must have either: Two QQI Level 5 modules – Care Skills/Healthcare Support and Care of the Older Person OR 1+ year experience as a HCA and a willingness to complete the 2 QQI modules (provided FREE by Bluebird Care) Good spoken and written English is essential Availability: Every second weekend preferred Flexible working hours to suit your lifestyle Ready to Join a Team That Cares?
